EverGro Hardwood Mulch

USES: Is an upgraded product used to replace plain topsoil or existing site soil. This
product has been enriched with Evergro Premium Compost and is nutrient rich and
ready to plant in. The product is screened through a ½ inch mesh and typically ranges
in particle sizes up to ¾ inch in diameter. The normal pH range is 6.0-8.0. The sand in
this product allows for the proper drainage needed in the landscape, but also has
enough water holding capacity to allow plant life and turf to thrive. It works really well
with turf installations, hydroseeding, filling and leveling areas, landscape beds, tree
backfill, and many other landscape applications.

INGREDIENTS: This product is a 50/50 blend of topsoil/sand, and Evergro Premium
Compost. The product is fertile and is a high performing blend.
The compost has been processed to a Class A level of pathogen reduction using
method alternative 5, under Section 312.82(a)(2)(E). This method meets applicable 40
CFR 503 standards to further reduce pathogens. Under this method, the biosolids have
been composted using the windrow method, and each has exceeded fifty-five degrees
Celsius for at least fifteen days, with at least five turnings during the high temperature
period. Afterwards, the material is tested for fecal coliform densities and trace metals,
which are listed in the testing results. The percentage of feedstock in the final compost
product is 75% wood chips and 25% biosolids. The compost meets all federal and state
health and safety regulations in accordance with the Texas Department of
Transportation and TCEQ.
